As a manager you need to ensure that people within your organisation act lawfully, do not discriminate against others and that everyone has an equal and fair opportunity.
Equality and diversity is not about treating everyone the same or being ‘Politically Correct’… it’s the law!
The Equality Act 2010 is the main law in the UK that tackles inequality and discrimination. It’s important that you understand the Act and how it applies to you as an employee.
The course will cover the following areas:
- Employer responsibilities
- Language and behaviour
Work through the sections within the courses to learn about key information relating to Diversity and Inclusion and the responsibilities as a manager and leader.
The course allows you to read and investigate information in the course and is available on any device, with the ability to save, exit, and return without losing your progress.
The course is designed to take 60 minutes but is structured so you can learn at your own pace and you can complete and revisit the course as many times as you like.
