learning live 2025
In September 2025, The Learning and Performance Institute (LPI) hosted its flagship event, Learning Live, at Liverpool Street, London. As proud members of the LPI, Caleb and Owen attended to connect with peers, explore emerging trends, and reflect on the evolving landscape of corporate learning.
Learning Live 2025 brought together senior decision-makers in corporate learning for two days of insightful sessions and networking opportunities. The event featured over 20 focus sessions dedicated to workplace learning, case studies from some of the world’s largest organisations, and workshops showcasing the latest learning technologies.
Both Caleb and Owen found the event to be a valuable experience, offering insights into the current state and future direction of corporate learning. Owen had this to say,
“I met some great people, both as peers and potential new clients. The LPI put on a great event, looking after us all with excellent hospitality. It was really interesting talking to others about their experiences in the industry and their thoughts and insights on where it’s going.”
Caleb echoed similar sentiments, adding,
“For me, it was that there was a consistent frustration with dull and ineffective learning content. Very similar challenges with engagement and improving culture. And the retention of key people.”
shared challenges and opportunities
A recurring theme at the event was the industry’s struggle with engaging and effective learning content. Many attendees expressed frustration over traditional methods that fail to capture learners’ attention and drive meaningful change. This aligns with broader industry concerns about the need for more engaging, relevant, and impactful learning experiences.
Caleb and Owen’s reflections underscore the importance of addressing these challenges head-on. By focusing on creating content that resonates with learners and fosters a positive learning culture, organisations can enhance engagement, improve retention, and ultimately drive better performance.
