winning hearts and minds
to drive a culture of inclusivity.
At Mindboost, we’re on a mission to obliterate soul-crushing, mind-numbing eLearning and put real, emotive people at the heart of every learning experience. That’s why we were thrilled when our CEO, Caleb Foster, joined a discussion with The Happiness Index and our partners at BaxterStorey. In Winning Hearts and Minds to Drive Cultural Inclusivity, Caleb shared the virtual stage with Lindsay Oliver, Head of Equity, Diversity & Inclusion at BaxterStorey, Matt Phelan from The Happiness Index, and Zoe, BaxterStorey’s Learning & Development Manager, exploring how data, empathy, and creativity can transform workplace culture.
Matt opened with insights from the World Happiness Report, for example regularly sharing meals with colleagues can boost happiness scores by a whole point on the 0-10 life evaluation scale. For a food-led business like BaxterStorey, these moments build belonging across 10,000 team members at 820+ UK and European sites. Lindsay stressed that inclusion is about “fuelling individuality” for everyone. Employee Resource Groups, from LGBTQ+ networks to Women in Hospitality and wellbeing champions, embed inclusion into culture and operations.
Caleb spoke about digital learning that connects emotionally. We co-designed ten mini-modules for BaxterStorey, using real team stories, audio, video, and bespoke illustrations to move beyond tired eLearning tropes.
