This year, we delved into The Learning and Performance Institute’s (The LPI) top challenges for learning leaders: Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI), Impact & ROI, Engagement, Leadership Development, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). These challenges reflect the rapidly evolving landscape of workplace learning. For instance, addressing EDI has become increasingly vital as organisations aim to foster inclusive environments where all employees can thrive. Research from McKinsey shows that companies in the top quartile for diversity are 36% more likely to outperform their peers in profitability.
Our research into Impact & ROI, emphasised the importance of data-driven decision-making, helping leaders measure the tangible benefits of their learning initiatives. Engagement strategies included innovative solutions like gamification and interactive learning modules, which have been shown to boost learner retention by up to 60%.
